To my clients,
Many of you have heard my news, but some have not. By the end of December, I will have moved to California.
For nearly 10 years I have had the incredible privilege of working with the amazing doctors, technicians, and front desk staff of VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital. It has always made me proud to hear clients say how helpful a receptionist was with a question, how a technician went out of her way to get a client something he or she needed, or that the teamwork the doctors provided smoothed the way to a pet’s recovery.
It is no easy thing to leave such a wonderful and caring team and where I have had so much satisfaction in my work. But California is my home, where I grew up, and where my family lives. So it is time for me to be close to those people who have been so patient with my absence for over 20 years.
Whether I have served you simply with preventative health care, or you and I have dealt with your pet’s challenging medical issues, I want you to know how grateful I am for the opportunity to work with you. Please also know that while I am leaving, the entire team at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital will be here to help. I have always said that I would have any of the doctors at VCA Wakefield treat my own pets. And really, the doctors have always worked as a team anyway, so you will continue to have that team at you disposal.
If you have any questions, the staff will be happy to help. After the first week of December, I will no longer be available to address medical questions. However, if you have a message you need to get to me for other reasons, you can ask a staff member to forward your message to me.
