Local Medical Issues
At Village Animal Hospital, we see how painful dental disease can be to pets. It can also lead to infections in the joints, kidneys and heart. Brushing your pet's teeth and feeding a diet formulated to keep teeth and gums healthy are great ways to maintain oral care for your pet. Yet many pets still require yearly dental cleanings to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Our hospital is equipped with a digital dental X-ray system for dogs and cats, which allows our veterinarians to detect injury and disease under the gum line.
