amazing caring pet care

Pet Name: thori have been going to village animal hospital for a few years now. i recently had a serious problem with my dog thor. village animal hospital was there for me in so many ways. the care they put towards my dog was unbelievable. i never expected the loving and sincere care that they gave thor. i truly believe they went above and beyond their duty for thor. i did lose thor, but i know that he was able to go peacefully due to the care he received. i will continue to go to village animal hospital and highly recommend it.

Vally's Near Death Experience

Pet Name: VallyMy puppy was hit by a car off Malabar Road. She dislocated her hip and sheared her left paw down to the bone. VCA took extraordinarily GREAT care of her. Because of their services, she was able to keep her leg when we though it might need amputating. I can't thank Dr. Bouman, Dr. Cole (and the whole staff) enough. She's as good as new and I will always refer anyone and everyone to them.

The wonderful kindness and respect you showed me when Hoss had to pass over the Rainbow Bridge made this a much gentler and easier decision. I know Hoss is barking at someone in Heaven waiting for them to take him out to play!

Pet Name: Buttercup, Coco and Sweet Peathe doctors at VCA are so nice and you can tell they really care about your pet and what the best way to treat them is. i've also had my dogs at boarding and I felt very comfortable leaving them there with such a caring staff. if you have a question, the doctors will call you back and talk you through your pets issues. dr baumann volunteers for the local beagle rescue and i met him through my foster work with them. he is a caring and awesome person.

Pet Name: BubbaMy dog Bubba, a 13 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd had had a bout with pancreatitis a couple of years ago and Dr. Bauman and his staff have been extremely wonderful in taking care of Bubba. Most recently Bubba got very sick and I thought it was just another round of something he ate but unfortunately it was Stage 4 Lymphoma.Chemotherapy was recommended. However, at this stage and in his condition, I felt it was something I couldn't do "prevent the inevitable" for my selfish reasons.My faithful companion never exhibited any pain that he was in, he just wanted to please. There was no judgment, just sincere compassion, caring and love for my Bubba shown by the staff including Dr. Jennifer Close who most recently took care of Bubba. Jackie is an "angel" and takes care of not only the pets that come in, but their owners as well. Candace was extremely comforting the day we took Bubba in and treated Bubba and me with tender loving care. Their room where they took us was just beautifully decorated by Jackie who put a great deal of thought to it for a time such as this...a comfortable bed for your pet, not a cold table, with pet pillows, "rainbow bridge" poem, a loveseat, just so comforting for a time like this. Bubba crossed over with no pain, just peace. It was quite beautiful and I will never forget that moment. Thank You to all of you at VCA Village Animal Hospital for your love and care...I will not forget you.

Pet Name: BigfootWe just moved to Florida on the 4th of July. The following Tuesday our cat Bigfoot could not urinate. We called VCA and they said that Bigfoot had to be seen. They made an appointment for us the following morning at 8 AM. After examining Bigfoot they put together a estimate for us. It was a little high. Considering we just spent $4000 to move here. They worked with us. Got the estimate down and made payment arrangements with us. Even though they didn't know us from Adam. Dr. Close was great. Unblocked Bigfoot and he stayed for 2 nights. She could first thing in the morning and before they closed everyday. When we went to pick him up. I expected the bill to be higher considering he was hospitalized for 2 nights. Well it wasn't. And the receptionist gave us a gift of a case of special food for him. It just was not in our budget. I about cried. They are wonderful vets and staff. They are worth the little higher rate.
