    Heather Hiers
    Veterinary Tech School: Brevard Community College

    Heather recently obtained her credentials as a Certified Veterinary Technician and is currently enrolled in school to further her education. She is planning on obtaining her BS degree in Animal Science. Heather is dedicated to the Veterinary profession and this is clearly evident in her attention to detail while caring for the patients she is assisting with. She is always calm, polite, and professional. Patients seem to understand that she is helping them as she speaks softly to them, trying to make them more comfortable. Heather's favorite breed of dog is the Beagle. She is the proud "mom" of Snoopy, Yoshi, (both Beagles) and Zero who is a Shar-Pei. She also assists a local Beagle Rescue and on occasion is able to foster a youngster while they are waiting for a perfect home of their own.

    Sharyn Niskala-Garrigan
    Veterinary Tech School: Cuyahoga Community College
    School: June, 1991

    Sharyn is perhaps one of the most talented and skilled technicians we have every had. Sharyn is a CVT, RVT, LVT and has been for 18 years. She is a career technician that truly loves the profession. She has been with the practice since 2003 and is considered to be the standard to which her peers aspire. She is currently an instructor with BCC in the veterinary technology program and is an amazing teacher, something that she excels at and enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge. She is a proud mother of a 3 year old son named James and her "4 legged" baby named Pawlee. Sharyn has a keen interest in dentistry, surgery, and overseeing the treatment areas. She is the current president of the FVTA (Florida Veterinary Technician Association). Sharyn is also gifted with computer use and helps us develop client education materials as well as tracking and training forms. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, swimming and spending a few hours with her husband.

    Eve Wright

    Eve has recently joined the family here at Village and quickly became a shinning star. She graduated from BCC with an A.A. but was drawn to the Veterinary field due to her love for animals. She has a few pets that are a part of her own family Daisy who is a cocka-poo, Fifi a poodle, Jake a husky mix and Lola-Sue a pug. She is an exceptional technician with a very high standard of care for our four legged friends. Our clients love her because of her genuine compassion and attention to detail. In fact we wish we could clone her!

    Hayley-Jane Lea

    Hayley is simply a delightful young lady. She is a joy to work with and loves to help in any way she can. She has a special place in her heart for older patients that need extra time or assistance. Hayley is polite, pleasant, always has a smile and an extra cuddle for those that need it most. She is from Saint Cloud ,Florida and grew up on a farm which made her realize that she wanted to have a career helping animals. She is the proud mother of a 10 month old baby boy.

    Jennie Kanyok
    School: Southern Illinois University, BA

    Jennie has recently relocated to Florida from Illinois, to join our hospital family. She is a wonderful addition. Currently she is completing her studies to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Jennie is a very accomplished technician, and brings much experience with reptiles, exotics, and small pocket pets with her. She is very attentive to detail, and excels in client communication. She has reptiles of her own , along with several cats (Fredrick, Izabella, Linus), and a rescued Aussie Cross that is deaf and blind, which she loves dearly. She is the mother of a 7 year old daughter named Joey. Jennie also has some interest in gardening and craft projects

    Kerry Tranchida

    Kerry is mature and thoughtful, and has a willingness to help everyone in the hospital. She takes exceptional care of the boarding guests, because she knows that extra attention when away from home is critical to their comfort. She makes sure they each get plenty of TLC and play time. She has 2 cats named Mao and Mushi that she adores. In her spare time she is an avid reader , when not sharing time with her family.

    Lisa Streetman

    Lisa has been with the hospital since 2002 and is able to work in any area of this facility if needed. She is exceptionally versatile, and has the ability to remain calm in emergency situations, and to work efficiently. She has a very soft spot for all the kitties and understands their need for quiet and calm handling. She has a lovely smile and a soft-spoken voice that pets relate to. Lisa is the proud momma of a 4 year old named Scott, and has 3 "four legged babies" as well. They are Molly, a mixed terrier...Matus, a Snowshoe kitty and Charlie the "Himmy" cat.
