  • Thank you Dr. Willis and Staff

    -Arlene Thibodeau from Enfield, CT
    Pet Name: Henry

I usually do not write comments or testimonials so to speak but the service that I have received from this Animal Hospital in the last week has been nothing more than INCREDIBLE!! I had an emergency with my young cat Henry and was given VCA as highly recommended animal hospital from a good friend. Well this facility is not only professional but extremely compassionate, and not only to the animals but to their families! Thank you Dr. Willis and staff....

  • Dr Mac and Dr Willis

    -Marla from Vernon, CT

I have always used Dr Mac when it came to caring for my pets. As I'm sure everyone is aware, Dr Mac is the BEST. However this time Dr Mac was at a seminar and I needed someone to examine my dog. I could not wait for Dr Mac to return but I was told that Dr Willis was available. As expected I was a little apprehensive about using a new Vet. No need to worry. Dr Willis immediate put me at ease and I felt as comfortable with her as I do with Dr Mac. What a great team to have caring for my pets.

  • Thank you

    -Roopa from Manchester, CT
Pet Name: Brownie, Tabby, Mya and Riya

Pet Image I have been taking my 4 furry felines Tabby, Brownie, Mya and Riya to VCA Valley for almost 3 yrs now. What a wonderful staff?! I am an overprotective pet parent and I can assure you... I cannot find a better hospital to take care of my pets. Over the course of 3 years, I have met with different doctors Dr Jody Willis, Dr. David Burnett, Dr. Frank McAleer and Dr. Christine Smith. They are all exceptional. Though each has a different style, they always ensure to provide the best care for my pets. Primarily Dr. Jody Willis has been the one I have visited the most and she has always spent considerable amount of time without ever rushing me and have always clearly listened and explained all options that are in the best interest of my cats and me. She provides all info so that I can make an informed decision. Yes, the cost is a little high compared to other vets but it is so worth it when the vet takes personal interest in each and every pet spending more than 30 mins to an hour sometimes. She is one of "THE BEST" and my pets love her. I shouldn't forget the many short notice appointments that they fit in for me. Heidi and Fayne are a wonderful part of their staff that are very congenial and extremely helpful. Overall "The Best Vet hospital" in CT! I would rate them a 5 on 5 in all aspects.

  • Wonderful People and Care

    -Lawrence Enderle from vernon, CT
    Pet Name: Skippie

Pet Image Valley vet in south windsor has the most professional and pleasant staff. The Vets are # 1 . Dr Burnett is the best there is. Thank You...

  • Dr. Mac and staff go above and beyond

-Linda and Garnet from South Windsor, CT
    Pet Name: Ginger

Pet Image We have been taking our cats to VCA since around 1997/98. We can tell you they have all received the ultimate care you would expect for your beloved friend. I can also say that we have been incredibly impressed with Dr. Mac (McAleer). He is incredibly patient and has an awesome rapport with our pets. We have recently experienced the incredible pain and sorrow that comes with the loss of our beloved Ginger. Harder still was having to face the most difficult decision a pet owner has with their pet - the selfless act of letting go when their health and quality of Life has diminished forcing you to make the decision to end their suffering. We were treated with such incredible empathy and care, not to mention the care with how Dr. Mac made it so peaceful for Ginger. We can't THANK YOU all enough. Linda

  • Competence and Compassion- what's not to love

-Jan Moberg from South Windsor, CT
    Pet Name: Fiddler

Raising cats from birth to their twilight years over the last 19 years has been such a privilege, made all the more enjoyable with Dr. Christine Smith by our side every step of the way. We have always felt a sense of care and confidence with this practice. We also had to use Emergency Care for our female cat Daisy at 2am, and though ultimately she succumbed to her illness, I was impressed with how seamlessly information came right to VCA's office in South Windsor. This is a team of professionals we trust and are grateful for!

  • Feels like home....

    -randi from windsor, CT
    Pet Name: Amani

Pet Image I have been taking my dog Amani there since she was a pup... over the years I have experienced nothing short of impeccable service and everyone on the staff is always accommodating. They always make you feel welcome! It wasn't until this past year that Amani has experienced some more pressing medical issues...I cannot rave about Dr. Willis enough! She has gone above and beyond to make sure Amani is getting the proper care and to re-evaluate her accordingly. Dr. Willis has been instrumental in getting to the root of Amani's issues and always makes us feel like we are at home when we come in (which is frequent)! I cannot thank her enough for all she has done and continues to do for my baby girl!! :)

  • You won't be disappointed

    -Karen from Agawam, MA
    Pet Name: Muneca and Diabla

Pet Image We don't even live in the same state but will drive the 30 minutes to this vet because we love them so much. Everyone is really friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the techs to the doctors. Dr. Mac is our regular vet and he's absolutely the best doc ever. He's extremely personable and at the same time will tell it like it is. One of our pups has a rare (in these parts) condition in her eye that he picked up right away. We went all the way to Boston to find a specialist because no doggie ophthalmologist around here had even heard of it.

  • Thankful for VCA Valley

-Senatro family from South Windsor, CT
    Pet Name: Harley

We recently had a medical emergency with our pug Harley. In light of this unfortunate situation we got to see how wonderful the staff of VCA Valley really is. Dr. Lorenzo and Dr. Willis are compassionate veterinarians who provided Harley the best care available and comforted us.
Julie, one of the techs provided service that exceeded expectations. Angela, Danise and Heidi in the Reception area were understanding and helpful in our time of need.

Harley is back to being the same lovable pug that she always was and we are thankful for VCA Valley for that!
