    Kate, CVT
    Veterinary Tech School: Mt. Ida College

    Kate has been with VCA since 2007. Before joining us here at Valley, she worked at the Walt Disney World Resort as part of their College Program. Kate is our resident Disney expert! She graduated in 2009 from Mount Ida College with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology ,received her CVT certification in 2011; and is now our Technician Supervisor. Kate is owned by 2 cats Sunny & Artie.

    Cheryl

    Cheryl joined our VCA team in 2012, she has been a veterinary technician for 18 years! She has 10 years of experience as an emergency technician.  She is also a certified dog and cat groomer!  Cheryl is a cat lover and has 10 happy and healthy kitties of her own.

    Michele C
    Veterinary Tech School: Holyoke Community College

    Michele has been with VCA Valley Animal Hospital for 12 years. In 2001, she graduated from Holyoke Community College and in 2002 received her certification. Michele is in charge of our hospital’s safety. She is an avid lover of the German Shepherd and has one of her own named Brutus

    Lindsay
    Veterinary Tech School: Mount Ida

    Lindsay graduated from Mount Ida College in 2012 with a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Technology. She is currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician. She is the proud owner of a beagle named Dill, and a chocolate Labrador retriever named Riley.

    Ely D

    Ely went to UMass Amherst where she graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science in February 2012.  She has been a veterinary technician since 2011 which helps in taking care of her 2 dogs Chiqui and Polly.  Recently she became a certified EMT and volunteers at Bloomfield Volunteer Ambulance.  She is also a member of a Big Brothers Big Sister program and loves cooking, baking, watching movies, and hanging out with family and friends.

    Nancy P
    School: Virginia Intermont College, B.A.

    Nancy joined us in September of 2009.  She has a B.A. in Horsemanship from Virginia Intermont College.  Nancy has been a veterinary technician for over 25 years.  Besides teaching riding, her interests include riding her Irish Sport Horse in dressage, enjoying her 3 adopted cats, and rooting for the Red Sox.  Nancy’s favorite place in the world is the east side of Sabago Lake, Maine!

    Heather
    School: University of Connecticut, BA

    Heather joined us in December of 2011. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in May of 2011. She has a horse, a Yellow-Naped Amazon parrot, three dogs, and a gold fish,  Her favorite activity is spending time outside with her three dogs Annabelle, Boone, and Percy Willis.

    Scott joined our team at VCA Valley Animal Hospital in 2011. While volunteering at the hospital, he completed the  Veterinary Assistant program at Manchester Community College.  Scott and his wife are proud owners of four cats and one dog, Chewy, Hooch, Cassidy, Nemo, and Dixie.
