Q/A

Q: Do you shave double coats?
A: No, double coats help provide warmth in the winter and cools them in the summer. If you shave the coat it will only grow back the top layer and will not provide skin protection for our furry family. It also does not prevent or decrease the amount of shedding, as the hair is now just smaller and harder to see.

Q: Does the hair dye contain chemicals that will harm my dog?
A: No, the dye is 100% vegan and chemical free. It is made for dogs and completely harmless. The dye will only show up on light colored/white dogs and I do not dye cats.

Q: Do you de-matt a dog/cat?
A: No, de-matting is very painful. Light dreads usually can get thinned out but all over matting will result in a shave down and starting over with regularly scheduled grooming to maintain the desired hair length.
