Biography

Meredith Kennedy is a graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, and has been practicing companion animal and emergency medicine for twenty years. She has practiced medicine and taught marine biology and wildlife ecology in East Africa and New Zealand, and helped establish a conservation program for Aldabra Giant tortoises on the island of Zanzibar, as well as writing books and recording music, and she'll be volunteering for Vets Without Borders in the South Pacific this fall. Dr. Kennedy loves working with all kinds of pets and their families, helping to improve their quality of life with education and excellent health care.

VCA Valley Animal Medical Center Emergency Hospital provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.
