Dayna is a proficient surgical technician and RVT, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona. During her academic tenure, she gained valuable experience working with livestock, particularly in the sheep and swine unit. Dayna's upbringing involved a diverse range of poultry, including chickens, geese, turkeys, and ducks. Furthermore, she is a proud owner of a pygmy goat named Mona Lisa, along with three rescue dogs, Colita, Forrest and Bubba. Dayna has been an integral part of VCA for nearly three years, commencing her journey as a Veterinary Assistant in the ICU/CCU department and subsequently transitioning into our esteemed Surgery Department.
