At VCA University Veterinary Clinic our primary goal is to provide your pet with the highest quality pet care available. We have been serving our community for over 30 years and look forward to continuing to serve you. We accomplish these goals through preventative medicine, sophisticated diagnostic services, comprehensive medical care and surgical expertise provided by the doctors and staff selected for their love of animals as well as their experience. We also believe that the absolute best care for all pets is created by a strong relationship between the pet owner and the veterinary staff. We are dedicated to the optimum in patient care and welcome your suggestions and opinions. Our animal hospital offers a full range of general medical/surgical services, extended hours, boarding and grooming for dogs and cats. Our hospital treats diseases and injuries, provides pharmaceutical products, premium pet foods, nutritional pet treats, retail items, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives and offers a wide variety of pet wellness programs including routine vaccinations, health examinations, diagnostic testing, spaying/neutering and dental care.
Local Medical Issues
There are several local environmental risks endemic in our metropolitan area. Because of our mild winters, year-round prevention against fleas/ticks/heartworms and intestinal parasites is critically important. Our suburban living allows for great experiences for our pets to interact with each other and the community in many ways, but also contributes to the spread of diseases at parks, neighborhood common grounds, pet-friendly businesses, and sidewalks. Local wildlife has thrived in our area, and Lyme disease (spread by deer ticks) and Leptospirosis (spread by water contaminated by wild animals), among other risks, are widespread. Our comprehensive prevention, testing and vaccine protocols are designed to protect your family and your pets alike.
