We are thrilled to announce that we have jumped into the wave of the future with our new Digital Radiography capabilities. We have long awaited the installation of the newest state of the art x-ray equipment. TruDR by Sound-Eklin is the best equipment and system for veterinary use anywhere today.

The system is a fully digitalized computer driven program that allows your veterinarian to produce extraordinary x-ray images without film, without developing, without waiting or retakes and without extra exposure for staff or for our pet patients.

Digital Radiographs are available for viewing on any of our conveniently installed and networked monitors here at VCA-University Veterinary Clinic. Images may also be burned to a CD so that you can take them with you or electronically sent to any other veterinarian if you prefer.

Training was provided by Sound-Eklin and we have technical support available to us at anytime should we need it. TruDR is a fabulous system and we are already noticing the benefits of having Digital Radiography and rapid radiologist review via electronic submission. Dr. Jackson is able to collaborate within a very short time frame with Board Certified Radiologists about what they see in your pet’s x-ray images. This gives our clients a team of experts to help determine the best possible treatment options and care for their pets.

When you next visit, ask us to show you how crisp and clear the x-ray images appear on our monitors. We will be happy to share our excitement over this transition with you and we are pleased that we are able to provide this improved and innovative service to our clients without any corresponding increase in cost! The staff at VCA-University Veterinary Clinic strives, as always, to provide quality care at a reasonable price.

You and your pets are important to us. Your pet’s health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal.
