    Deborah D.
    School: S.U.N.Y. at Morrisville, A.S.

    Deborah has been with VCA Turco Animal Hospital for nearly 10 years and the last 7 as Technician Supervisor. She holds an Associates degree in Animal Science from SUNY Morrisville. Prior to her work with small animals, she managed a racehorse farm in North Stonington, CT. Her duties included breaking and training, rehabilitation of injured/retired racehorses and sales prep for international markets. Deb was also a licensed exercise rider at several racetracks on the East Coast. Deb was born and raised on a farm in Upstate NY where her love of animals began at a very young age.

    In her free time Deb enjoys horseback riding, kayaking and traveling with her husband, Mike. They live in CT with their two Jack Russell's, Ruby and Sydney

    School: University of Connecticut at Storrs, B.S.

    April joined VCA Turco Animal Hospital in 2006.  In addition to her technician role, April also spends time in the role of Client Service Representative.   April has two Rat Terriers, Brieanna and Olivia, that she loves to make clothes for!

    Trisha C

    Trisha started with VCA Turco in late August, and brings with her 17 years of Veterinary Technician and Surgical training. Trisha is originally from Connecticut, but spent several year in Philidelphia, PA and has now taken up residence in Rhode Island. Trisha has such a great passion for her patients, client education around their pet's health, and dentistry. Trisha plans to continue her education with a possible focus on a VTS in Dentistry, but for now is enjoying life with her 9 year old daughter and their 2 cats Niko, a maine coon cat, and Maggie, a domestic short hair. Outside of work, Trisha enjoys hiking, reading, church activities, and is also a talent artist.

    Casey F.

    Casey has been working as a veterinary technician at VCA Turco since December 2007.  Casey is a skilled surgical technician.  Casey has completed her Associates Degree as well as studying for her Certified Veterinary Technician exam, and hopes to continue in this field with a strong focus on animal nutrition.

    When she is not working, Casey spends her time traning and competing her horse Harry in Dressage.  She also has a boxer named Dozer and two cats, Daisy & Duke.

    Caroline O.

    Caroline rejoined VCA Turco Animal Hospital in summer 2012 after taking some time off to raise her children. She previously worked for Dr. Turco as a Technician for 7 years. Caroline is also an amazing surgical technician, and a huge support to the staff where ever needed. Outside of work, Caroline loves spending time with her husband Peter, and children, Natalie and Thomas, and her mixed breed rescue Myles.

    Jeanie P.
    School: Rhode Island College, Biology

    A VCA Turco team member since 2006, Jeanie graduated from Rhode Island College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.  Pursuing her passion of animals is what led her to the Veterinary industry, where she began as a client service representative and then worked her way towards her current role as technician.  Jeanie enjoys spending her free time with her 3 cats and 2 Shih Tzus, Gus & Russ.

    Amber W.
    School: University of Rhode Island

    Amber joined VCA Turco Animal Hospital in January 2013.  Amber works as both a veterinary technician and client service representative.  She is currently studying at the University of Rhode Island for pre-veterinary and plans to continue on to veterinary school following graduation.  At URI, Amber has gained experience working with farm animal large and small.  Amber has two dogs - Duke, a Neapolitan Mastiff/Great Pyrenees mix, and Lyla - a mixed breed.

    Kristen Z.
    School: University of Rhode Island, Bachelors of Animal Management

    Kristen has been employed with VCA Turco since August 2011.  She has 2 boxers:  Riley & Kemba, and 2 bengal cats:  Elie & Loki.  Kristen graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Animal Management in May 2013.  She has volunteered and interned with sea lions, seals and sea otters at the Mystic Aquarium and Aquarium of the Pacific over the past few years.  Kristen has grown her skillset over the years in the areas of surgery, and is also one of our exotics technicians. Kristen's passion for animals does not end at work. She also has a Rescue organization, and fosters several pets.
