Deborah has been with VCA Turco Animal Hospital since 2003. She holds a degree in Animal Science from SUNY Morrisville. Deb was born in upstate New York and always had a love for animals. Prior to her work in the Veterinary field, she managed a racehorse farm in Stonington, CT. Deb is an exemplary leader within VCA Turco. Her strong work ethic, team spirit and desire to be continuously learning sets an amazing example for her entire Technician team. In her free time Deb enjoys horseback riding, kayaking and traveling with her husband, Mike. They live in CT with their two Jack Russell's, Ruby and Sydney.

April has been with VCA Turco since January 2006. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in 2005. She is married with 2 young boys at home as well as being a pet parent to Elliot, an Italian Greyhound, Olivia, a Rat Terrier, and Brieanna, a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua Mix. Outside of work, April enjoys spending time with her children, scrapbooking, and crocheting. Why did April choose the veterinary field as a career: "I love that I am a part of helping animals become and stay well."
Veterinary Tech School: CCRI
Andrea is our newest team member to the Turco staff, starting in April of 2015. She graduates with her Vet Tech degree in July 2015 from CCRI. Andrea has a full household of furry friends: Bailey, an Irish Setter Mix, her Pug Bugsy, two cats: Minion and Big, and finally her rat Wilbur. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys hiking, competing in obstacle races, snowboarding and sports. Why did Andrea chose this field: "I love this job because you are always learning something new everyday, and teaching our clients something new about the health of their pets."
Casey has been working as a veterinary technician at VCA Turco since December 2007. Casey is a skilled surgical technician. Casey has completed her Associates Degree as well as studying for her Certified Veterinary Technician exam, and hopes to continue in this field with a strong focus on animal nutrition and dentistry. When she is not working, Casey spends her time riding and competing her horse Harry in Dressage. She also boards, trains and rehabilitates project horses. She also has a boxer named Dozer and her cat, Duke.
Jennifer joined the VCA Turco team in August 2013. Before transitioning to the Veterinary field, Jenn was a Store Manager for Dunkin Donuts for 7 years. Jenn started as a Client Service Representative with VCA Turco, and has since been trained as a Veterinary Technician, which has been a dream come true. Knowing that she can make a difference in an animal's life is the most fulfilling part of her role. Jenn also runs a wonderful and full blended household with her husband, Jayson, and their 5 daughters and 1 son. That doesn't even include all their furry kids. They have a Pomeranian named Athena and a French Bulldog named Henry. They also have 4 cats named: Veronica, Beauty, Nala, and Catniss. During their free time, Jenn and her family can be found hiking and enjoying everything mother nature has to offer.
Caroline rejoined VCA Turco Animal Hospital in summer 2012 after taking some time off to raise her children. She previously worked for Dr. Turco as a Technician for 7 years. Caroline is also an amazing surgical technician, and a huge support to the staff where ever needed. Outside of work, Caroline loves spending time with her husband Peter, and children, Natalie and Thomas, and her mixed breed rescue Myles.
School: University of Rhode Island, Bachelors of Animal Management
Kristen has been employed with VCA Turco since August 2011. She has 2 boxers: Riley & Kemba, 2 bengal cats: Eli & Loki, and 2 rescues that were fosters that have found their permanent home with Kristen and her clan: a mixed breed named Pita, and a Maine Coon cat named Marley. Kristen graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Animal Management in May 2013. She has volunteered and interned with sea lions, seals and sea otters at the Mystic Aquarium and Aquarium of the Pacific over the past few years. Kristen has grown her skillset over the years in the areas of surgery, and is also one of our exotics technicians. Kristen's passion for animals does not end at work. She also has a Rescue organization, and fosters several pets.
