Dr. John Dennigan went to Providence College in Rhode Island on a 4 year academic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in biology with honors. Dr. Dennigan then went to Northwestern University in Illinois to study biomedical engineering under a fellowship from the National Institutes of Health where he received a Masters of Science in 1976. His thesis involved computer analysis of neuronal information transmission and how neural nets function. After working in research for several years Dr. Dennigan was accepted by Tufts Veterinary School for their second class and graduated in 1984 with his DVM degree. For over 20 years Dr. Dennigan has worked in companion animal medicine, both general practice and emergency medicine.
