Hands down the best care. We found the perfect vet-Joyce from Garner, NC
Pet Name: Roan
In June, my husband surprised me with a new kitten and the search for a vet begun. We were looking for a vet that would do the unconventional 4 paw declaw. After 2 false starts with 2 other vet practices, (not to mention interviews with approx. 10 vets), I found VCA. I remembered VCA animal hospitals from when I lived in NJ, so I gave them a call. I explained the frustration I had with previous vets, my time frame restrictions and explained what surgical needs we wanted and asked if they were able to help us. No question, they were not only able to help, but we had an appointment in 24 hours. And the people there who took care of us! OMG, you will not find better. David, who helped set up the appointment was open, warm and so understanding. Nikki and Pam are so caring and efficient. Their warm, friendly personalities greet you and immediately you know you are in the right place. Then there is Joanne and Adam--you can see how they love what they do. Our cat was at ease in their hands. And then there is Dr. MacKay--you will not find better. She is warm and caring and you see the passion she has for her patients and her patients parents (us). Our cat did very well through the surgery, but had a hard time with the anesthesia. Dr. MacKay, to ensure Roan had the best care, asked if she can take him home with her so she could watch him overnight. Who does that? I can say after interviewing 10 different vets, none except Dr. MacKay. She got up in the middle of the night to check on him and even hold him for over an hour to ensure he felt loved and safe. When we picked him up the next day, he looked great. We were sent home with all of the medications and instructions we needed for his follow up care. It was amazing. This is a practice who is there for you and your pet. We drive over 25 minutes and pass at least 5 other vets to see Dr. MacKay at VCA and we find it a drive well deserved.
Obi Won Kenobi-Marion from Raleigh, NC
I am 9 years old and I have been coming to VCA Tower Animal Vet center all my life and I loooovvvveee it. Everyone here treats me with respect and they all seem to love me. They remembered my name and also remembered that I like treats. They make a big fuss over me every time I visit. I am a big girl (rottweiler) and they know how to handle me. I am getting older now and I have a little arthritis in my joints so they handle me gently. My parents seem to like it too. I heard mom tell dad she all the staff. She said she like he doctors they explain things with terms he can understand and give good instructions on how to take care of me if I get and ouchy or if I don't feel well. Anyone out there who wants a good experience should come here.

Pet Name: Harley
We love VCA. The staff is always friendly and professional. We have been using VCA for well over 15 years (between a cat and two beagles that we have had) and would never take our pet anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff for your compassion, dedication and kindness to our furry babies.
Best Animal Hospital-Aline from Raleigh, NC
Pet Name: Mozart
This is the best animal hospital/boarding facility I have every dealt with. The doctors are great - very caring and ready to answer all my questions and concerns. The staff is also great. Mozart is a rescued dog and was in a bad situation before I got him. He loves the staff and feels very safe and secure with them. I would not take my furry friend any place else.
The best animal hospital-Ipek from Raleigh, NC
Pet Name: Nikko and Simba
I've been visiting 2 other well known hospitals for my pets. Each visit was a nightmare. They don't care about your pet, just another dog or cat; all the thing is how can they take some more money, does your pet really need this test or treatment, especially in this money tight time? After I adopted 2 more cats from WCAS, since the first visit was free, I went there for the first visit. Now I know what I was missing for my furry four legged children. I am so sorry for my pets, for years I took them to petlover(?)or moneylover hospitals. I am so happy finding real pet lover, caring people, I'll probably transfer all my pets to their care.:=)

Genuinely care for our pet-Misty,Tom,Joe Ferrara from Raleigh, NC
Pet Name: Boomer Sooner Ferrara
I must say that after losing our Keeshond and dealing with Banfield Hospital in Knightdale, I didn't trust or want to go there ever again. But when we got our new Siberian Husky puppy Boomer Sooner, our neighbor who has a husky referred us to this hospital. I/we couldn't be more pleased with from the moment I set up the appointment on the phone, walking through the door - everyone has been wonderful. Not only does everyone on the staff, Alicia, Ginny, Lorraine, to Dr. Gholoni who is wonderful but there is a genuine concern for our pet and us as his owner. And Boomer his is in his glory when he gets to see everyone there, it's like his second home. I/we trust everyone at this office to the fullest. I thank everyone for putting my mind at ease, especially after loosing my Keeshond Bandit. Thanks for all that you do, keep up the great work.

Wonderful and caring staff-Carole from Raleigh, NC
Pet Name: Gilby and Zeke Smith
Dr. Ghiloni and staff have been caring for our cat, Zeke, for 14 years. They nursed him through a heart condition and he is now 18 and still happy and active!. Our newest family member is a 9 year old poodle, Gilby, who joined our family in August. He came to us with diabetes, hypothyroidism, and partial blindness. The team has done a wonderful job in getting Gilby's health stabilized and he now looks and acts like a new little man. He loves going to see his new "friends" especially Alicia, Jenny and Lorraine.
