Toms River Animal Hospital

Veterinary Support

  • Technician Supervisor

    Christine Van Pelt

Christine supervises our pharmacy technicians who assist doctors in examining rooms and run our pharmacy. Christine has loved animals from the time she could speak and has been a veterinary technician on and off since she was 18 years old.

After working in the cosmetics industry for 14 years, Christine decided she missed taking care of animals and wanted to return to veterinary medicine. Christine loves caring for our patients and the looks of love and trust they give when she gives them a kind word or a loving pat on the head. She gets a thrill when she sees a pet that was very ill upon entering our hospital, leaving the hospital running and jumping into his or her owners' arms and spraying them with kisses.

In her free time, Christine likes to spend her time with her two dogs, gardening, hiking with her pets, cooking, baking, working out, reading books that make her think and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Technician Supervisor

    Terri Corblies

Terri oversees our treatment technician team. Our treatment technicians are responsible for assisting in surgery, radiology, treating hospitalized patients and our labroratory.

Terri attended West Orange High School and received her undergraduate degree from Camden County College. Terri has been a Toms River team member since 1986.

Terri lives with her husband and three children, 2 daughters and a son. In her free time, she likes to be involved with her childrens' activities like music, arts & crafts and doing outdoor activities like gardening and swimming.
