    Veterinary Tech School: Penn Foster College

    Erin came to VCA TLC in 2011 all the way from Fairfield, Connecticut.  She has been working as a veterinary technician for 4 years and has a special interest in animal behavior and training, radiography, and emergency medicine. In her free time Erin loves crafting at home with her orange tabby, "Tiggs" and hiking with her pit bull terrier, "Dime".

    Weldon Glenn
    Veterinary Tech School: Los Angeles Pierce College

    Weldon grew up Springfield, Ohio. In 1977 he received his BA in theater from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. After a long career in acting Weldon decided to pursue a new career in veterinary medicine and attended Los Angeles Pierce College in 2000. Weldon joined VCA TLC in 2010.

    In his free time, Weldon enjoys astronomy, physics, reading and music. He is trained as a classical organist and shares his home with a seal Siamese cat named Ciaran.

    Hara Hong
    School: UC Davis , Animal Science

    Hara grew up right here in Los Angeles. After graduating from UC Davis in 2007, she began pursuing her career as a veterinary technician. Hara joined VCA TLC in 2011 and particularly enjoys the study of animal behavior. Outside of work Hara enjoys reading and challenging herself to try something new. At home Hara has quite a menagerie with 2 cats, 1 chihuahua, 3 fish, 2 parakeets and a snake!

    Tony Marquez

    Tony has been working at VCA TLC since 2000. Prior to joining us he worked as a technician at VCA Miller Robertson, right down the street for nearly 10 years. We are very luck y to have had Tony here with us, he is a very important part of our technical team and brings with him a sarcastic humor that keeps us on our toes. Tony can most often be found assisting the doctors in surgery and performing dental cleanings. And when he's not working, he's relaxing at home with his family and 2 dogs, "Mojo" the Australian Shepherd and "Lucy" the Chihuahua.

    Sophie Spallini-Smith

    Sophie joined VCA TLC in 2012. She was born in Bromley, England and has always loved animals from day one!
    Sophie is currently enrolled in Los Angeles Pierce College RVT program and in looking to graduate in 2013. In her free time, Sophie likes the outdoors, going hiking and spending time with "Riley" her 12yr old Lab.
