Dr. Pete DeTolve graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Upon graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Pete was accepted into an internship program at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referal Center where he practiced for an intense year under the guidance and supervision of board certified specialists. After completion of his internship, he moved to Colorado where he practiced as a daytime emergency veterinarian at VCA Douglas County Animal Hospital. Dr. Pete takes special interest in emergency medicine, surgery, and dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their four dogs, two cats, and four chickens. He is an avid snowboarder, and enjoys anything that has to do with the outdoors.
