Biography

Dr. Alayne L. Schmogrow graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in June of 1999. After graduation, she initially practiced mixed animal medicine, but decided to join VCA Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital in 2001. This is Dr. Schmogrow's second career, having previously spent several years in the business field as a computer programmer and systems analyst.

Dr. Alayne L. Schmogrow focuses on quality internal medicine and surgery for small animals. Since April 2004, she has utilized ultrasonography as an integral part of her practice. Her fields of veterinary interest also include cardiology, ophthalmology, urology and behavior.

Dr. Schmogrow is the recording secretary on the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association Board and also mentors veterinary students.

Dr. Schmogrow enjoys scuba diving, cycling, roller blading and skiing, when she is not entertaining her three dogs and one cat.
