Caring for pets... and their people, too.

At VCA Tampa Bay Animal Hospital, our veterinarians believe that preventative care for your pets begins with regular physical exams. The more we get to know you and your pets, the better we can care for their needs. We are committed to early detection of chronic conditions through thorough physical exams and wellness screenings that include blood work, urinalysis, heartworm tests, and intestinal parasite evaluations. Our doctors are complemented by our knowledgeable nursing staff, pet-friendly animal care-takers, and cheerful front desk staff. Don't forget that your feathered friends and exotic pets such as rabbits, ferrets, and reptiles also need regular evaluations. Come see us today!

Love VCA and Dr. Pablo
Joe DiVecchio from Tampa

The entire staff of VCA is very nice and Dr. Pablo is great. We have been taking our pets there for 20 years and even though I no longer live as close as I used to when I first started going there - I continue to take my pet there. One of my pets passed away a couple of years ago and Dr. Pablo was amazing during the whole time. Kenya wasn't supposed to make it 2 weeks when her kidneys began to fail, but thanks to Dr. Pablo and the staff she lived another 9 months - fully recovering from kidney issues. Ultimately cancer got her (she was 18 1/2). I cannot tell you how many times I talked to Dr. Pablo in the evenings, on the weekend, etc. as we tried to get Kenya better - and for a time it worked! Dr. Pablo definitely cares about his patients. We still talk about Kenya. Our other dog Charley still goes there and we will always take our pets to VCA as long as Dr. Pablo is there. I highly recommend it.
