Technician SupervisorBeth Baker
Beth Baker began her tenure at Swengel Animal Hospital as a receptionist in 1990. She later trained to become a veterinary assistant, and then a veterinary technician before taking over as nursing supervisor. Beth enjoys being part of the hospital's caring, compassionate staff and she loves getting to know clients and their pets. At home, Beth cares for two chihuahuas, Sly and Kiwi. Beth's hobbies include reading, going to the gym and cheering her husband on in cycling competitions.
Registered Veterinary TechnicianMichael Jackson
Michael graduated in 1995 from Parkland College veterinary technician program in Champaign Illinois. Michael joined VCA Swengel Animal Hospital in 2004 and is in charge of laboratory maintenance and quality control. Some of Michael's favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include Parasitology (Michael is often called "the bug boy"), client education and interacting with their pets. Michael loves working with animals and is proud of the high level of care and compassion provided by the entire staff at VCA Swengel Animal Hospital. Michael has been happily married for 25 years and loves bicycling, tennis, entomology, astronomy and reading history. He also serves as the children's minister at his church.
Registered Veterinary TechnicianErin Noonan
Erin Noonan has been working with animals since she was 14 years old. Now a licensed veterinary technician, Erin has been part of the Swengel staff since she received her Associate's Degree in Applied Science and Animal Health in 1990. The quality of animal care, the attention to patients and the caring staff are among the many reasons Erin enjoys working at Swengel Animal Hospital. Erin is a member of many professional organizations, including the Indiana Veterinary Technicians Association, the Ohio Association of Veterinary Technicians and the North American Veterinary Technician Association. In her spare time, Erin enjoys cooking and watching sports with her son. Her family also includes her dog, Big Jake Jr., and her two cats Tracy and Jay-Jay.
Veterinary AssistantApril Lambrou
A native of Elwood, Indiana, veterinary assistant April Lambrou joined the Swengel staff in 2001. April enjoys the family-like atmosphere at the hospital. April can often be found camping and walking trails with her two dogs, Sunny Day and Sadie. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Veterinary assistant Shelby Davis joined the Swengel staff in 1995. Shelby finds working with animals to be rewarding and enjoys the friendly atmosphere at the hospital. Shelby's hobbies include gardening, cooking, crafting and going to parks with her energetic daughter, Sara, close behind. Shelby's family also includes her dog Mocha and her cats, Cupcake and Hiro.
