    Ashley Boyd

    Ashley B. started her VCA journey in California at VCA Monte Vista in 2012. She transferred to VCA Sugar Grove after moving with her family to Indiana in the summer of 2015. Ashley lives east of Indianapolis with her husband and two daughters. She has two small dogs named Sergeant and Roxy. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, listening to music and watching movies.

    Paula Dvorscek

    Paula has worked in the veterinary field and animal rescue world for over 9 years. She does what she does for the joy of working with animals and celebrating in all their success stories. Paula grew up in Chicago in a family full of animal lovers.  Family pets, pet sitting jobs and rescuing strays always kept her very busy.  After moving to Indianapolis, she found her passion for animal welfare and became actively involved with local rescue programs.  Paula’s volunteer work with animal rescue groups has helped many incredible pets find their way to new forever homes with loving families.  She has been a foster mom to more pets than she can count!  Paula loves working at VCA Sugar Grove and being up front with all our clients the most. She loves being able to help them in any way possible and enjoys bonding with the patients and the clients.  When she is not working, Paula and her husband John enjoy camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

    Megan Kates

    Megan began working at VCA Sugar Grove Animal Hospital in 1999, shortly after Dr. Day first started the practice.  She started as a kennel worker, then began assisting the technicians and eventually trained as an exam room veterinary assistant and client service representative.  Megan recently graduated as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and is working full-time at VCA Sugar Grove while studying to take her board exam.  She has 3 dogs and a cat at home, as well as a horse.  In her spare time, Megan enjoys riding horses, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family.
