Technician SupervisorJackie .
Jackie joined us in 2012 as our registered veterinary technician supervisor after pursuing her for months. We knew that Jackie would be a fantastic addition to our hospital and she has definitely proved us right! Jackie not only assists our wonderful doctors, she also manages our inventory and continuing education for our technicians, and meets directly with our medical director to assure our hospital is practicing the highest quality medicine available. Jackie also assisted in having having our hospital AAHA certified which is quite an honor for us.
In the very limited spare time Jackie has, she likes spending time with her husband and new baby Ryker and caring for their pets at home - Luke (Jack Russel) and Emma (Chihuahua).
Registered Veterinary TechnicianLinda .
Linda has been with VCA Stoney Creek 13 years and is one of our Registered Vet Techs. Linda has a great love for all animals but we like to call her our "cat whisperer". Linda is our hospital...'s assigned "Cat Champion" and does everything she can to make sure our feline patients are comfortable - even going as far as creating an exclusive cat waiting room! Linda is also an experienced dental technician and can frequently be found in our dental suite taking radiographs or performing ultrasonic scaling and polishing. Linda's years of experience make her an extremely valuable employee. On any given day she can be found doing inventory, ordering medical supplies, assisting in surgery or helping make our patients and clients feel comfortable and secure. Linda has 7 of her own cats at home and in her spare time likes to spend time with her husband gardening, hiking and canoeing.
Veterinary AssistantMike .
Mike has been with VCA over 10 years and truly enjoys helping animals. You will frequently find Mike in the exam rooms assisting our doctors and taking your pet's history but is well trained in all areas of our hospital. Mike is a quiet, well respected and dedicated employee who takes great pride in his work. At home Mike has two dogs, Reeses and Zoey and a cat Kaloni. If Mike is not busy assisting the doctors here at VCA Stoney Creek, he is fulfilling his duty as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. In his limited spare time, Mike enjoys deep sea fishing.
"I enjoy my job because I feel like I am making a difference helping animals stay healthy on a daily basis"
