Compassionate and Caring-Sandra Tomlin from Hollywood, FL
We have taken our many cats over the years to Dr. B and Dr. K. They have both always been extremely caring and compassionate in the treatment of our babies. We would not take them to anyone else for treatment whether it is for a routine exam or something more serious. All of the VCA staff have also always been extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We feel very comfortable bringing our darlings to VCA.
Every pet is special here-Lorraine Broertjes from Hollywood, FL
Pet Name: Harold
VCA has been our dog Harold's animal hospital since his adoption from the Humane Society. Everyone on the staff is sincerely kind to both people and animals. Harold has been treated there for everything from routine conditions to surgery, always with the same level of professionalism, concern and patience. I feel confident putting my dog's health in this staff's hands. THANK YOU!!!
Dedicated Group of People-Randi Vigarino from Hollywood, FL
Pet Name: Katrina
I have been taking my four cats to VCA Stirling Square Animal Hospital since they were kittens, and no matter what the reason, if just for a routine exam or yearly shots to a life threatening illness; Dr. B and all of the staff of the hospital have been wonderful and so caring. It is very rare in this day and age to find such a dedicated group of people who truly care.
In 2005, my beautiful 5 year old, black cat "Katrina" was vomiting more than usual which could be due to eating too fast or hairballs, yet I sensed something was wrong. Katrina's initial lab tests all came back normal. Dr. B believes that the owner knows their pet best and will always treat any concerns with much care. She offered more testing but did not push me. She does not push for more testing unless she feels it is warranted. We agreed that additional testing was needed and shortly thereafter, Katrina was diagnosed with cancer in her spleen. She put me in contact with an excellent surgeon and oncologist and it has been four years and Katrina is in complete remission. Looking back, if my husband and I would not have been able to pursue treatment due to finances, I know she would have not judged me. But, thanks to Dr. B's care and guidance, I have been able to continue to have my beautiful Katrina meet me at the door each day when I get home from work.
My second testimonial is about my 5 year old tiger cat, Isabella. She performed bladder surgery several years ago to remove stones. She drove back to the hospital in the middle of the night to check on her. How lucky are the people who take their pets to VCA Stirling Square and to have their pets treated with such love.
Wonderful things to say-Elana Brown from Fort Lauderdale, FL
Pet Name: Karma
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about VCA Stirling Square Animal Hospital. The staff always makes me feel welcome and comfortable with their caring and knowledgeable approach. I have taken my pets to VCA Stirling Square for 5 years and plan to continue returning for years to come. When my dog Karma fell ill unexpectedly at the age of 3 ½ years, I was devastated. Dr B and the rest of the staff worked with me for over 2 months to diagnose and treat her. I received lab and study updates religiously and was involved in her care every step of the way. As Karma’s condition began to deteriorate, Dr B would periodically call me at home after hours to check up on her and would answer any question I had that night. One of the techs even volunteered to take Karma home one night when I needed to go out of town because she was concerned about her. Though Karma never made it to her 4th birthday, I know we did everything we could before it was time to say goodbye. I thank VCA Stirling square for making the hardest decision of my life as guilt-free as possible because I know Karma received superior medical care and there simply was nothing else to be done. I now have a new puppy named Dumo, who is doing Fabulous. He has been to VCA multiple times for routine exams and is in perfect health. The staff has welcomed him with open arms and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you everyone at VCA Stirling Square Animal Hospital. Special thanks to Dr B and Suzanne.

So far, I've visited twice & had two appointments with VCA Stirling Square Animal Hospital. Staff are great, communicative, & comprehensive. If you ask a question, staff will show you & help you out. Very affordable price in my point of view. Big, spacious, beautiful, & decorative hospital. Every information is given on the first visit in a plan called Puppies Bundle Package. A lot of different items of food, health, & grooming to buy too.

Pet Name: Gypsy
We have been in S. FL quite a while & could not find an animal hospital we liked as much as the one we used up north, but finally have! From the Vet we saw (Dr. Groveman) to the friendly staff to the facility to the Hospital Manager (Suzanne), we couldn't be happier.

ONE DAY ABOUT A MONTH AGO, A SWEET SMALL KITTEN, WHICH IS A COMMON HAPPENING, WAS FOUND BY MY SON, TODD, KNOWN AS "THE CAT WHISPERER "THE KITTEN WAS "SYLVESTER" HE WAS ONLY ONE OF MANY OF THE FERO CATS, THAT APPEAR IN THE MIDST OF THE NITE, ON OUR DOOR STEP RESCUED BY MY SON TODD. HE BEFRIENDED SYLVESTER. AT FIRST HE APPEARED TO BE OK. THE NEXT DAY MY SON NOTICE, THE KITTENS TAIL STOPPED WAGGING. I BECAME VERY UPSET AS THE KITTEN WENT INTO A TRANCE APPEARING DEHYDRATED AND LETHARGIC. I IMMEDIATELY WENT ON LINE AND FOUND VCA ANIMAL HOSPITAL AT 3000 STERLING RD, HOLLYWOOD. I SPOKE WITH A LOVELY ATTENDANT NAMED LISA. SHE INFORMED ME OF A FREE 1st APPOINTMENT. I THOUGHT GREAT, I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO THEIR LOCATION. I WAS HAPPY TO SEE HOW NEAT AND CLEAN THE FACILITY WAS AND WHILE I WAS QUITE IMPRESSED TO LEARN, FROM SEVERAL REGULAR CUSTOMERS, WITH THEIR PETS, THAT THEY HAVE BEEN FOLLOWERS OF DR G AND DR B. I WAS CALLED IN WITH SYLVESTER, THE SICK LITTLE KITTEN. DR G GAVE THE KITTEN A VERY GOOD , EXAM, UNFORTUNATELY SYLVESTER WAS SUFFERING WITH A FRACTURED SPINE, ALSO ANEMIA. DR G WAS ABSOLUTELY KIND AND HUMANITARIAN, TELLING ME "THANK YOU FOR BEING SO KIND AND TOLD ME SHE WOULD TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING AND NO FEE WAS CHARGED. WELL "SYLVESTOR IS IN HEAVEN AND THE GUARDIAN ANGEL AS YOU CAN TELL IS DR GONZALEZ AND OF COURSE LISA IS A ANGEL. I RECOMMEND VCA AND THEIR FANTASTIC CARING FAMILY TEAM. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT, I WILL BRING MY PETS IN THE FUTURE. BERNADETTE LEVINE

Pet Name: Shea
My wired haired dachshund Shea was scratching, had a low appetite and was throwing up a little every morning. It turned out my baby had flea dermatitis and other allergies as well an ear infection. After The Vet recommended we switch foods and gave us several medications Shea stopped throwing up, has a better appetite and is rid of those fleas!
