School: Cedar Valley College, Certified Ultrasound Technician
Janice is originally from the United Kingdom and moved to Houston in 1985. She has been with VCA for the past seven years - during that time she become increasingly interested in ultrasonic imaging. She became a certified ultrasound technician in 2008 through Cedar Valley College and works closely with the veterinarians when performing this diagnostic tool for patients that need additional diagnostic work-up. The best aspect of her job is building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
When she is not working, she enjoys tooling around on her scooter, swimming and playing with her 'smooshy' faced dogs - Peanut (Dogue de Bordeaux), Rachet and Midge (English Bulldogs).
Veterinary AssistantTamara Eubanks
Tamara has been with VCA for 1.5 years - she started as Animal Care Attendant and quickly advanced to Veterinary Assistant. She works closely with the veterinarians with surgical and hospitalized patients. Recently she became Dr. J. David Carter’s physician’s assistant and checks in on many of his patients. She loves working with animals on a daily basis and being able to care for them during their times of need.
When she is not working she loves spending time with her beautiful daughters, Kaylee and Hannah. She also enjoys fishing and other outdoor activities. She has one dog (whom she is picture with) Buck and a cat named Possum.
Veterinary AssistantNicole Heino
Nicole is a local girl that graduated from Klein High School. She has had an affinity for animals and had been working with them since 2002. She loves the relationships that have and can be built with clients and their pets. Her passion within the veterinary field is lies in dentistry and animal behavior. When she is not busy at work, she is caring for her 13 year old African Grey Parrot, Ash, 5 cats and her daughter, Trinity. She loves to travel, spend time outdoors and fly airplanes!
Veterinary AssistantDouglas Radabaugh
Doug is a native Houstonian and animal lover. He has been working in the veterinary field since 2006 and has been a veterinary technician since 2009. Doug strives to learn something new everyday which is one of the reasons why he loves being a veterinary technician.
When he’s not at work Doug enjoys working on his 1967 Mustang and playing the guitar (or at least attempting to). He has always had a passion for animals since early childhood and has owned many different types of animals through the years. He currently has 4 domestic short hair cats, a Shar-Pei and a ferret; all of whom are spoiled rotten.
Veterinary AssistantRebecca Reynaud
School: Houston Community College
Rebecca is one of our newest additions here at VCA Spring Animal Hospital. She has been a certified veterinary assistant for 5 years after working her way up from kennel assistant at her previous job. Rebecca has two pets - one dog, Luna, whom she adopted from the shelter after fostering. She also has a cat, Jasper, another 'foster failure' whom was four weeks old when she started fostering him. When Rebecca is not at work she enjoys playing clarinet, as she was a member of the marching band when she was in high school and spending time with friends. Rebecca finds veterinary medicine very rewarding - she loves getting to know each client and their pets.
