"Being a veterinarian has been a dream of mine since childhood. I have always wanted to help others and loved animals. As a young boy, I always tried to help a stray cat in the neighborhood or help rescue an abandoned pet. I've also always enjoyed puzzles; since my patients cannot speak, figuring out what is wrong with them is much like trying to solve a puzzle. Each part of the physical examination is like trying to find another piece of a puzzle. Being a veterinarian has enabled me to integrate both of these loves into my career. I consider my pets part of my family, and I know many of my clients do as well. A career in veterinary medicine was an easy choice for me. Loving what you do makes it easy to come to work every day."
