VCA Southwick Animal Hospital

Welcome Jennifer Taylor

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer Taylor as our new Hospital Manager to VCA Southwick Animal Hospital!

Jenn has worked with animals and their people since she was a young girl ... in fact, when her peers were securing their first babysitting jobs, she was building a reputation as the neighborhood pet-sitter! Over the years, Jenn has worked in pet stores, equine stables, and veterinary hospitals. In the veterinary setting, she has worked as: a receptionist, a kennel attendant, an assistant/tech, and a Hospital Manager. Jenn’s experiences have allowed her to truly appreciate the importance of providing both superior patient care and an outstanding client experience.

Outside of the animal world, Jenn practiced as a Licensed Massage Therapist for about 9 years. During that time, she had the honor of instructing and developing general curriculum and CE classes as well. Her passion for learning & development strongly influences her managerial style; she is dedicated to team-building and ongoing skill development for the entire team.

When not at work, Jenn’s time and energies are focused on her family; she and her husband are the lucky parents of two amazing daughters. As a family, they all enjoy martial arts, music, travel, and (of course) animals. They share their home with 3 dogs (Boston Terrier, Bugg, and English Bulldog), 1 cat (DLH), and two hamsters (Siberian/Teddy Bear).

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you. Our specialized services include: behavior, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, rehabilitation, reproduction, and surgery.
