    Kathleen Whittington, RVT
    Veterinary Tech School: Vet Tech Institute of Houston

    Kathleen is a graduate of the Vet Tech Institute of Houston and joined VCA Southwest Freeway in March of 2009. Kathleen is a native of Maryland, a mother of four and a grandmother. She lives in Richmond, TX with two of her daughters, Duke her chocolate lab, and two cats, Bruce and Kitty.

    Jessica Lowe

    Jessica joined our team at VCA Southwest Freeway in October of 2009. She is a full time student at HCC where she is working on degree in biology. Jessica lives with her orange tabby cat named Sherlock and when she is not at work or school, Jessica enjoys spending time with her friends, watching movies and going to the beach.

    Phyllis Mock

    Phyllis is a life long resident of the Houston area. It would be an understatement to say that she loves what she does as a veterinary technician. Phyllis is passionate about her work and each and every animal that comes into VCA.

    Phyllis brings 20 years of experience and passion to her work at VCA.   She enjoys her time equally working as both a technician and as a service coordinator. Whether it is the smile on a client's face or the wag of a dog's tail, both are equally important.

    Phyllis is the mother of 3 girls and resides in Pearland with John.  They share their home with Peanut, her rescue terrier and Buzz her deranged cat.  When Phyllis is not working or solving daughter issues you can find her out on the water fishing with John.

    Sandra Shaner
    Veterinary Tech School: Texas State Technical Institute

    Sandra has been working with animals for more then 20 years. She spent several years working in emergency medicine before joining VCA. Sandra also has experience working with exotic species and is a Certified Behaviorist Trainer. Sandra is the mother of a toddler named Edgar Dulton and has 10 American Staffordshire Terriers, 2 German Shepards and 2 cats.
