• Been going to VCA for year

  First visit and ear infection

  I was so worried about my kitty, Natalie. She was stumbling and not moving very much- I was hoping she just had an ear infection. She was not exactly a model patient when I took her to Dr. Nath but he was very understanding of my cat's hostility/fear and handled her well. He was very knowledgeable and very quickly knew what was wrong with her and offered treatment options. It was reassuring to know that he could explain her symptoms (some were scary!) and what we could do to help her. Thank you so much! She was doing much better (yes, it was an ear infection!) just 24 hours later. I appreciate the patience and care from Dr. Nath and the tech Christine. I would definitely recommend the VCA Southland Animal Hospital!

  Awesome vet and staff

  We adopted a puppy from a local shelter. Within a week, she started to become listless and vomiting. We took her to an emergency vet over the weekend. Found out our little girl has parvo and roundworms! She was doing fine on the meds, then she started vomiting bile. Called Southland VCA, and they told me to bring her right in. The vet, Dr. Nath, was great! Answered all our questions and started treatment right away. All the girls there are just as friendly as can be! He will be our vet from now on!

  WONDERFUL with older and younger dogs

  I took my new puppy in for her second shots and the staff was fantastic with her. On the way home my pup started acting funny so I called back to the vet and the staff got the actual vet on the phone and talked to me. He was very kind and caring for the pups health. He told me what to do and if I wanted to bring her back in and he would stay past closing at no extra charge and take care of her. I also took my 15 husky with me to get an opinion on his health and what to watch for when it could be time to put him down. The doc was again Wonderful. He examined Rocky and told me what to do and gave me the choice of costly health or more natural minimal cost and what was best for my furry angel. The Whole staff is WONDERFUL! and they really love their job. Thurs. are great because no office visit charge during certain hours, so if you just need shots, go! I will be taking my pup there to get spayed next month and feel very good knowing she will be in good hands!
