We would like to proudly announce that we have passed our most recent American Animal Hospital Association accreditation, which was June 25, 2009!  VCA Southeast Area Animal Hospital has spent 30 years as an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital.  The accreditation inspection covers over 900 standards that span all aspects of the medicine we practice and the care we provide to our patients.

What does this mean to you?  This means that we are committed to providing your pet with the highest standard of veterinary care, and are constantly challenging our team to practice the best medicine possible.  Only about 15% of the small animal hospitals in the US are accredited, and hospitals must be evaluated every three years.  Choosing an AAHA-accredited hospital for your pet's medical care ensures that your pet will receive high quality veterinary care.  For more information on AAHA, you can visit their website at
