Rosie Busayawatanasood, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Rosie Busayawatanasood attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010. While at Cornell, she received the American Animal Hospital Award in 2010 and the Simmons Educational Fund Business Aptitude Award in 2009. She was also a member of the National Veterinary Honor Society (Cornell University Phi Zeta) from 2009-2010. After graduation, she completed a year of Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency and Critical Care rotating internship from 2010 to 2011 and a year of Ophthalmology dedicated internship from 2011 to 2012 at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, NY. Dr. Rosie currently resides on Long Island with a tabby cat named “Jellie” and a mini-lop rabbit named “Lola,” who get along quite well at home. Her interests include ophthalmology and small exotic mammals such as rabbits and hamsters, among others.

Your emergency needs can be met right here at our hospital. South Shore Animal Hospital provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.
