Pet Name: MaggieThis is late in coming - but we wanted to thank the VCA - especially Dr. Kube and staff - for all that you did for our dog Maggie last August when we brought her in with Canine Vestibular Disease. It was so scary for us...but knowing you folks were there 7x24 made it less scary..and then knowing that she was getting the best care possible made everything A LOT less scary. You kept us informed daily of how she was doing as well as let her regular vet know what was going on..all without us having to ask. Your care and concern for her made all the difference in the world.
Maggie recovered fully - no head tilt either (yeah!). Thank you again for all that you did for us and Maggie:) Good to know you are there!!! -

Dewey
-Wendy from Hingham, MAWe want to thank everyone at VCA for their kindness and compassion when we rushed in with our beloved cat, Dewey. Sadly, the doctor determined he was already gone and they helped us decide on our wishes. We chose to carry him home for burial and they provided us with a suitable box. They didn't charge us a dime. We even received a sympathy card. It's comforting to know that others understand your loss.

Pet Name: Herb Donovan
Dear Dr. Bock and everyone at VCA,
Thank you so much for taking such good care of me. I was really impressed with how much everyone cared about me and how Dr. Bock called my mom to see how I was feeling. My tummy feels so much better now! I'm feeling great, eating well, and up to my old tricks.
Thanks again! -
Many thanks
-Maria and Paul from Weymouth, MAJust a quick note of thanks to everyone at VCA South Shore for their kind and thoughtful treatment of our dog Tish. Though she was an "old lady" of 16 years, Tish was fun-loving, playful, and a very big part of our family. When she lost her mobility and it became clear that her quality of life was going to rapidly decline, we brought her into VCA South Shore, where the doctors helped us understand all of the potential treatment options - and when we ultimately decided that the time had come to let Tish go, everyone there was extremely sensitive and accommodating. Knowing that everyone there had Tish's best interests at heart made a very difficult time much easier. So to all the folks we interacted with - the doctors, technicians, everyone at the front desk - thank you.

We could not ask for better treatment anywhere

Pet Name: Shadow
Our beloved cat Shadow (all of 6 years old) developed a large internal mass. The doctors and staff of the VCA Weymouth not only treated her with compassion, they were willing to try anything it took to make her healthy and, in the end, comfortable. They were patient and accommodating and genuinely cared about our family.
Now that we have adopted two new kittens we will be visiting the VCA Weymouth facility again to keep out little ones well. Thank you all so much! -
Thanks to all

Pet Name: Nook
Nook, my 6 year old, female husky mix was attacked by another dog in my neighborhood. My husband and I rushed Nook to VCA South Shore Animal Hospital that evening; she was bleeding from small holes in her neck from the other dog’s teeth. I cannot begin to explain the overwhelming appreciation I felt knowing that VCA was open – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
I called VCA South Shore on my way to the hospital and the young woman that answered the phone was wonderful. She was calming and spoke slowly, took my information and explained to me that when I arrived, a technician would triage Nook immediately to determine whether or not she was able to wait. If not, Nook would be seen by a doctor upon arrival. Emergencies are taken in order of urgency. Most of the time, even for a non-urgent matter, wait time is minimal.
When we arrived with Nook a technician was waiting for us. She saw Nook’s bite wounds and took her out back without delay for a doctor to take a look. Within minutes, Nook was being cleaned up. The doctor clipped her fur, washed her wounds and examined Nook fully, head to paw. We were able to take Nook home with antibiotics and "at home" instructions. All of the instructions were typed, easy to read and follow. We were told to warm compress Nook’s neck a few times a day, for a few days. About one week later, Nook’s neck had just about healed.
I am so grateful to all whom assisted us at VCA South Shore that evening. My husband and I were scared and very worried. The staff at VCA South Shore was knowledgeable, caring, and very capable of thinking on their feet. I was impressed with the entire group. I have been to VCA South Shore numerous times; each time I have an even better experience.
