Thank you for being so kind
-John, Keli, Kyle and Jake from Randolph, MA
Pet Name: Kaci
After many visits to our regular vet and watching our best girl, Kaci, having a hard time getting up and eventually having a tough time even walking, we decided it was time to say goodbye to our beloved German Shepherd of almost 11 years. Having never been to the VCA Weymouth Animal Hospital, we were nervous at first, but quickly saw how sympathetic everyone was to our feelings. Dr. Cindy Lopes was extremely kind and compassionate as she explained what she was going to do and what to expect. We are so grateful for her genuine kindness as this truly was one of the hardest things we had ever done. Thank you Dr. Lopes and the staff at the VCA. You really made a difference to us. -
Thank you
-Marie Morgan from South Boston, MA
Pet Name: StrummerI recently had an emergency situation with my dog, Strummer, and we had to visit the 24 hour Emergency Service Department at VCA South Shore.
From the moment we came through the door the staff was kind, patient, understanding, and quick. Assessing the situation and comforting us came naturally to each and every staff member. Dr. Nicole Govoni was both professional and knowledgeable, and explained everything to us. Dr. Govoni allowed us to see Strummer before leaving him there for the night, and called us later to explain what had transpired since we had left him there. We felt very comfortable leaving him in your care because we could see that each and every person was dedicated to providing the best care possible.
The following morning the doctor called us again, and gave us an update. This put us at ease and really helped us to relax for the day. At pick up the staff again explained everything to us, including after care instructions.
Strummer is now home safe and sound recovering with us all thanks to the amazing staff at VCA South Shore. We could never thank you enough for doing what you do every day, and hope you all know how much you are appreciated. -
VCA saved my life
-Shilo from Carver, MA
Pet Name: Shilo
Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart! To the wonderful vets, technicians, desk staff, and anyone I may have missed-you all helped to save our German Shepherd puppy's life after she got hit by a car. She had lost a lot of blood on her way to the hospital, she was very lethargic, and she had developed a heart murmur. I was so thankful for all the care and expertise the VCA staff provided to Shilo. Thanks to all of you, she is healing and doing so much better! THANK YOU! -
The best service with the best staff
-Antonella from Quincy, MA
Pet Name: Lily
When my Chihuahua Lily, got bitten by a much larger dog I rushed her to the VCA Weymouth Hospital. It was my first time there and the service and staff were fantastic! Lily is now resting at home and will soon celebrate her sixth birthday. Thanks to all the staff and keep up the great work. It is because of people like you that animals can enjoy long and happy lives. -
Exceptional Care and Compassion
-Frank and David Taylor from Quincy, MA
Pet Name: Dailen
David and I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your exceptional care you provided our 13 yrd old German Shepherd, Dailen when we brought her in with the final stages of her fight with Cancer. We always felt she was getting the best care throughout her life and even when she was first diagnosed. This visit was no exception, and it was your exceptional care that allowed us to have the entire weekend to spend some quality time with her and spoil her in the fashion she was used to. We cannot thank you enough for giving us all that extra time to be with her.
When we brought her to you that next Tuesday, you saw our struggle as we knew her body was weak but her mind was still alert. It was your reassurance with her behavior that allowed us to make the decision. It is those reassurances that help comfort us and allow us to accept our decision as the right one even today. We can say that the whole experience you and the staff provided us to bring Dailen to peace was very comforting. Your compassion was strongly felt and helped us get through it.
We know that only time will heal this wound, but we again appreciate all you did to make this easier for us. You and everyone at the VCA do so great work with the animals and their caretakers, it is to be commended. -
Thank you for the many years of caring
-Lea from Milton, MA
Pet Name: Tessa and BuddyMy family has brought our pets to the VCA for years. First we started with my cat Buddy and he was 14 years old when we had to put him to sleep due to cancer, and the staff and doctors were amazing. And just recently we had to put our Boston Terrier, Tessa, to sleep due to a serious medical condition and again the staff there were beyond kind and caring. And a special thanks goes to Dr. Politano for taking such great care of our Buddy and Tessa. It meant a lot to us. You're care, concern, and understanding of our needs and our pets needs showed through your work. Thank you to all of you for the excellent care.

An Island of Tranquility
-Hankie's Mom from Boston, MA
Pet Name: Hankie
Thank you to all who work at South Shore VCA. My experience was with Dr. Morrisson, a second time with Dr. Diamond, and the wonderful people at reception and on the phone. My Irish Setter Hankie had a TPLO done by the wonderful Dr. Diamond eight years ago and he has been perfect ever since. I had to take him again this week to see Dr. Morrisson for his heart murmur and another TPLO on the other leg done again by Dr. Diamond. I am an over protective loving care giver for my wonderful Hankie, and everyone at South Shore VCA also seemed to be over protective care givers. :) . I love that during the firedrill Hankie got some play time with the staff before his surgery! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all truly wonderful and unique care givers! -
You All Rock

You gave us back our beloved pet
-MaryAnn Curran from Canton, MA
Pet Name: LilyOur dog developed a toxic reaction to a medicine she had been prescribed. We rushed Lily in and she was assigned to Dr Messina. He calmly and clearly explained all that was happening and all that he recommended. He got back to us on the phone and met with us when we came to visit her. Lily is an older dog and we thought we would have to put her to sleep. On the evening she was released she came trotting out, wagging her tail. We can't say enough thank yous to all of the caring staff who supported us through this emergency, especially Dr Messina.
