We are deeply committed to the health and well being of every pet, not just the pets in our care. That is why we work with local shelters to help lost and abandoned animals in our community find new homes.

It isn't just our hospital. The entire family of VCA Animal Hospitals works with shelters and humane societies across the United States to promote successful pet adoptions.

Part of that work is helping you prepare for adopting a pet, because we believe that an informed owner is more likely to adopt the right pet and less likely to return the animal to the shelter.     The Animal Shelter Inc. of Sterling, MA is a non-profit organization (formed in 1988) and a no-kill animal shelter with no time or age restrictions. The shelter exists to provide humane sheltering and high quality medical care for stray, unwanted and abandoned pets looking for homes.

Your emergency needs can be met right here at our hospital.

VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital provides 24 hour emergency veterinary care, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency veterinarians, veterinary technicians and/or veterinary assistants are on staff 24 hours a day.

We provide the highest standard in veterinary emergency and critical care services. We are trained and equipped to perform a variety of emergency surgeries and procedures. We provide the highest standards of pain management. Emergency internal medicine consultations, including full diagnostics, are available.
