VCA South Shore (Quincy) Animal Hospital

Sheri Procious, DVM, Staff Veterinarian

DVM, Tufts University

Dr. Procious is a native New Englander, having recently returned to the Boston area and VCA South Shore Animal Hospital after a brief relocation to Washington, DC. After graduating from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, Dr. Procious completed a year-long internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital where she gained experience in general and emergency medicine and remained on staff for several years in the general practice. Veterinary Medicine is Dr. Procious’s second career, spending 5 years in research at a biotechnology company before attending veterinary school.
Dr. Procious enjoys the challenge of a complex medicine case as much as she looks forward to getting your new puppy or kitten off to a healthy start in life. She also has a special interest in dentistry. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Procious enjoys hiking with her dogs, Bella and Gorda, and spoiling her cats, Will and Grace.

Dr. Procious approaches every case and patient with the belief that all animals deserve to live a healthy and comfortable life. She looks forward to working with you in achieving this goal for your canine and feline family members.
