Q: How long does the Complete Dog or Cat Groom take?
A: This varies as to the size of the pet, type of hair cut requested, whether there are mats present, and the temperament of the pet. An average dog or cat groom generally takes about 3 hours.
Q: Do I have to leave my pet there all day?
A: Our groomers will work on your pet soon after he arrives, and you will be able to pick him up as soon as he’s done. He is welcome to stay the whole day, if that is better for your schedule.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Grooming prices vary based on breed and condition of the coat. Please call our groomer at 425-415-7948 for specific prices.
Q: Can I bring my pet bunny?
A: Yes! Our groomer is skilled at rabbit handling, and can bathe, dry and provide sanitary clips to our bunny friends.
Q: Does my pet have to be a patient at the hospital?
A: Our groomer will gladly see any dogs, cats and rabbits. Dog and cats must be up to date on their rabies vaccinations.
Q: Can I bring in my puppy?
A: Puppies over 10 weeks of age that are current on their DA2PP (distemper, adenovirus and parvovirus) vaccines are welcome!
Q: I’d like to enter my dog into a dog show. What should I do to get her ready?
A: Call our groomer at 425-415-7948 to discuss style and treatment recommendations for your particular dog’s breed.
Q: My pet has been difficult to handle for groomers in the past. Can she still be groomed?
A: For our especially difficult feline and canine friends we can offer sedation by one of our veterinarians. Please call our hospital or grooming salon for details.
Q: What can I do about my dog’s excessive shedding?
A: Regular brushing and bathing can reduce the amount of shedding from your pet. There can be underlying medical conditions that can cause an unnatural amount of shedding, so talk with your veterinarian if you have specific concerns.
