Wonderful, kind and caring

-Kris Mizutowicz from Everett, WA
Pet Name: PJ and Princess

Those are the three words that immediately enter my mind when I think of the care our beloved dogs received at VCA Silver Lake Animal Hospital. Dr. Singh went above and beyond in treating our two miniature schnauzers who both suffered from diabetes. He would check in on them during his off hours and I know he truly cared about them. Dogs never like going to the vet but both of our dogs were always calm as Deanna or Dr. Singh worked with them. Ultimately, we had to put our dogs down as their disease progressed. However, Dr. Singh and his staff were so kind and respectful of our wishes and wanted only to make the passing of our dogs as painless as possible for all involved. I miss them every day. Had I known this site was here, I would have been singing the praises of VCA Silver Lake Animal Hospital long before this.

I will never forget when I rushed my dog Rudi into the clinic and Kim Lowrey dropped the phone and put her hands out to get him. I thought he wasn't going to make it. But i really feel her quick response helped. I will never forget that day nor her compassionate face when we arrived. Rudi survived and i am forever grateful. And i feel really comfortable knowing even the front desk people love animals as much as we do.

Fluffy's Final Day

-Lori Mitchell from Everett, WA
Pet Name: Fluffy

We'd never been to the VCA Silver Lake office. I called this morning because our 13-year-old dog was having trouble breathing and wouldn't eat. They got us an appointment this morning and our treatment from that phone call until we left was very caring. They diagnosed our Fluffy with congestive heart failure and provided several options. When I asked about "quality of life" the doctor was very honest as well as very considerate of our emotions. She provided the information we needed to make a horribly hard decision and the entire staff was supportive. We're still in shock at suddenly losing her, but the staff made it a little easier by acknowledging how we felt, providing options, and just being supportive. Well done!
