Caring for pets... and their people, too.

Welcome to VCA Shaker Road Animal Hospital. Our hospital has been part of the community for over 30 years. Our goal at VCA Shaker Road is to treat every pet with compassion. We strive to instill trust in our clients, to further educate them with respect to their pets health and to assure them that their pets are receiving the very best in quality veterinary care. We pride ourselves in keeping our practice current with continuing education, and providing personal service to all of our clients.

Local Medical Issues

Having a pet is a wonderful experience. However, there are some zoonotic diseases that you should be aware of. These are diseases that can be transferred from animals to humans, including intestinal parasites, leptospirosis, rabies and tick-borne diseases. There are things we can and should do to protect our pets and our human family members from these diseases. Pets can be protected from many diseases by vaccinations and year-round prevention.
