Biography

Dr. Ota grew up in Southern California and worked at several veterinary hospitals while in high school and college.  She attended UC San Diego and completed a degree in Psychology with minors in Biology and Spanish Literature.

Dr. Ota received her veterinary degree from UC Davis in 2009 and then completed a small animal rotating internship at Pet Care Veterinary Hospital in Santa Rosa.  She joined VCA Sequoia Valley Animal Hospital in September 2010.  Her professional interests include surgery, critical care and avian medicine.

Dr. Ota lives with her husband, daughter, two small dogs (Tita and Scrappy) and two leopard geckos.  Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, photography, hiking and spending time with her family.
