VCA Seaside Animal Hospital

Boarding/Grooming

  • Kennel Supervisor

    Kelly Parmeter

Kelly is our spectacular kennel supervisor. With a love for pets and insight into what keeps them content during their boarding stay she is working in her sweet spot. She has been in the veterinary field for 5 years now. She has been with us at VCA Seaside Animal Hospital for 2.5 of those years.

Kelly has a 6 year old beagle rescue named Emma and a 2 year old rescue cat named Artemis

When she is not with us, she can be found gardening, running, biking, reading and writing. If you see her out in the area and she doesn't respond to her name, she isn't being rude. You may have found her twin sister, not Kelly at all.

" I take pride in making sure clients pets are happy and healthy."

  • Kennel Assistant

    Olivia Hodge

Olivia is a fairly new addition to VCA Seaside Animal Hospital, being here only 2 months so far, but she is not new to the pet care industry. She worked in a kennel in Maryland for 4 years where, when we called for her reference sent a GLOWING REVIEW. They noted how sad they (and their pets) were to see her leave. We already know why..... Olivia ROCKS!

She says that she has wanted to work with animals since she was in the 5th grade and wanted to be a Zoo Keeper.

She currently works in the Doggone Healthy yard as a play maker and in the VCA Seaside Animal Hospital kennel as an assistant. She is learning the ropes quickly and has her eyes set on a Veterinary Technician position one day.

" I FIND JOY IN HELPING AND CARING FOR ANIMALS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T ALWAYS HELP THEMSELVES"

  • Kennel Assistant

    Jesse Jones

Meet Jesse! He works in our doggy day care yard. All of the dogs are always so very excited to see Jesse's smiling face. Jesse has been with Dog Gone Healthy since 2012 and he loves his job. He has the best job of playing and training all of the campers at Dog Gone Healthy.

' I DO WHAT I DO BECAUSE I LOVE PETS PERIOD."

  • Groomer

    Jennifer Debartolo
School: New York School of Dog Grooming, Grooming

Jennifer is a 2003 graduate of New York school of Grooming. She is a gifted groomer with a quiet touch to make even the most nervous pup more comfortable.

Her own brood is numerous and with a hand in rescue work, there is always a fresh face!

She is an avid fisher woman. Her most recent fishing adventure was to the Florida Keys where she landed a 170lb Tarpin and a 450lb shark!

" I DO THIS BECAUSE I HAVE A PASSION FOR ANIMALS AND I WANT THEM TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES"

  • Groomer

    Jody Zaleski

Jody is the newest member of the VCA Seaside Animal Hospital Team and works for our sister facility Doggone Healthy. She is available to groom your furry companion with excellence Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.

When she is not here, creating masterpieces, she can be found at home with her adorable black cat "Kit Kat". Weather permitting you can find her lounging on the beach watching people, catching some rays or reading.

We are so excited to have Jody as a part of our team and look forward to watching her grow her client list to a full work week.

" It is my mission to make the world beautiful one strand at a time."
