Veterinary Support

    Riversong E.

Hi, My name is Riversong, but I go by River. I have been here at VCA Sandy Lake since 2010. Everyone has always taken such good care of me. I have a bit of a sensitive stomach and some food allergies, but other than that I am a little pistol. I run the treatment area to make sure everyone is on their game. I love to be petted, and most of the time demand attention. I am friends with everyone, but don't care much about other enemy cats. I'm not used to them so I like my solidarity. I refuse to drink water from a bowl, and will meow incessantly until someone turns on the water faucet for me. I'm special like that. I can't wait to meet you. I'd love to have my back scratched. Stop by sometime, won't you?!?!

Veterinary Tech School: University of Texas at Arlington

I was born and raised the youngest of 5 children in Forth Worth, TX. Some of my earliest memories were playing with the dogs and cats we owned growing up. I am the first in my family to attend and graduate from college. My favorite part of this job is playing with puppies and kittens all day.

    Crystal T., CVA III

Hi! My name is Chrystal and I have been a technician here at VCA Sandy Lake since January 2002. While here I attended classes to become a level 3 Certified Veterinary Assistant. My areas of interest within the hospital are Dentistry, Radiology, and Surgery. I have been married to my husband Steve since June of 2000 and we share 2 children; Joey (19yr) and Victoria (13). We also have 2 cats, Gary and Leo. In my free time I enjoy watching and playing soccer and following other sports that are going on at that time.
