Liz Beesley, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Beesley is originally from Mount Vernon, Iowa. She was awarded a bachelor of arts in Biology at Hanover College in southern Indiana. Dr. Beesley completed her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois in 2014. While studying at the University of Illinois, Dr. Beesley received the June Rae Abott Wolk award for her compassion and love for animals. Dr. Beesley completed an externship at VCA Salem Animal Hospital and fell in love with the clinic, atmosphere, and people. She joined the VCA Salem Animal team as an associate veterinarian during the summer of 2014. Her interests include ultrasound and educating clients on common diseases in the area.

Dr. Beesley and her husband love exploring the Pacific Northwest with their two shelter rescue dogs, Ally and Elsie. They are excited to take advantage of Oregon’s many opportunities such as hiking, ocean and mountains.
