Biography

Dr. Kremer Mecabell was born and raised in Argentina and immigrated to Israel at the age of 19. She studied a bachelor degree in Animal Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and then received her doctorate at the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine. In Israel, Dr. Kremer Mecabell has dedicated her time to work as a zoo keeper, a veterinary technician and she volunteered with disabled adults and low-income immigrants. Dr. Kremer Mecabell moved to Boston with her husband in 2005. She worked as an oncology technician at Angell Animal Medical Center until she got her veterinary license in the USA. She started working as a general practitioner at VCA Rotherwood in August 2006 and she left in June 2007 to complete a 1 year medical and surgical internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. After her internship, she returned to VCA in July 2008 and had worked with us since then. Dr. Kremer Mecabell fluently speaks English, Spanish, Hebrew and Portuguese. Dr. Kremer Mecabell currently resides with her husband and her son in Jamaica Plain.
