VCA Roswell Animal Hospital

Alondra Olazagasti, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Tuskegee University

Dr. Alondra Olazagasti is a 2013 graduate of Tuskegee University's College of Veterinary Medicine; she joined the VCA Roswell Animal Hospital family in November that same year. Dr. Olazagasti grew up in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico where she earned her Bachelors in Veterinary Technology at the University of Puerto Rico. Her special interests include internal medicine and surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Olazagasti enjoys horseback riding, cooking, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Javier, a University of Georgia graduate, and sweet, little boy, Diego. Dr. Olazagasti has two dogs, a French bulldog, Beaudreaux, and a miniature poodle, Kinki.

Growing up in a farm in Puerto Rico and getting to enjoy the different animals with my dad gave me my first push toward the veterinary profession. I never was afraid of animals; I always felt a curiosity and a responsibility to protect them. So when I was 11 years old, I decided that I wanted to be a veterinarian. At that point, I started to work toward my dream, which eventually became true in 2013. I decided to become part of VCA family based on the wonderful people that work at the clinic and the outstanding reputation VCA holds nationwide.
