Kennel AssistantPrecious Alston
Veterinary Tech School: Gwinnett Technical College
Precious joined the VCA Roswell Animal Hospital family in May of 2013 with two years of experience in the animal field. She grew up in Staten Island, New York and is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technology degree at Gwinnett Technical College.
When not at work, Precious enjoys baking, playing Rugby, going to the shooting range, and photo sessions with her pets. She is also a member of the University of Georgia’s Herpetology Society. Precious’s own pets consist of Bailey, a two-year-old, albino Doberman Pinscher, Leeloo, a tortoise-shell calico cat, Zeus, an albino Burmese Python, and Roswell, a Great Dane.
Precious says, “When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I see looking up at me are four beady little eyes, one set that is blue and another that is yellow, followed by an abundance of kisses from my dog and cat. It brings me joy to know that they are so happy and healthy. That is my motivation for getting up every morning and coming in to work: I want every dog or cat that I am responsible for to receive the same excellent level of care that my own pets do so that they can bring a smile to their family's faces every day.”
Kennel AssistantStephen Stanko
The VCA Roswell Animal Hospital family welcomed Stephen to their team in September of 2012. Stephen always has his hands full and can be found ensuring our patients receive lots of T.L.C., assisting our doctors and veterinary assistants, and keeping our hospital looking and smelling beautiful. He is a vital part of our hospital's success.
When Stephen is not at the hospital working hard, he attends school and spends time with his dog, Sam, whom he fell in love with and later adopted through VCA Roswell Animal Hospital!
Stephen explains "I choose to get up every day and come to VCA Roswell Animal Hospital because I love providing the best possible boarding experience for our pets. I take pride in ensuring every pet has a fun, stress free and safe stay with us. My favorite part of working at VCA Roswell Animal Hospital is collaborating with our team of Doctors and Techs to providing the best care for our hospitalized pets."
Maria has been a part of the VCA Roswell Animal Hospital family for over 18 years! In fact, her two daughters, Aimee and Ines, are also a part of the hospital family. When she's not working, Maria can be found spending time with her daughters and two sons. Maria loves working at VCA Roswell Animal Hospital because she finds joys in every minute spent with the patients, clients, and her fellow hospital team members.
Aimee has been with VCA Roswell Animal Hospital for over 15 years! After spending part of her time as one of the hospital's fantastic bathers in the grooming salon, she is now doing what she truly loves full time...grooming! Aimee is an important part of our team as she not only makes our patients look and smell beautiful, but is also versed in other areas of the hospital. When she is not busy at work, Aimee is spending time with her husband and three children. Aimee enjoys working at VCA Roswell Animal Hospital because it enables her to exercise the love she has for both people and animals.
Grooming is nothing new to Kathy as she has been making pets beautiful for many years! Kathy chooses to groom at VCA Roswell Animal Hospital because she feels rewarded when her furry friends leave looking great with their happy parents.
