    Angie Mares has been with VCA since 2004. She has also done work at an Emergency Hospital for 2 years and has basic experience with large animals including farm animals. She took part in a collegiate research project where she had the opportunity to handle ostriches and study their muscular energy and oxygen consumption during exercise. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in December of 2009. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Vet option June of 2010 at California State Polytechnic University of Pomona. Angie will be applying to schools of Veterinary Medicine in the coming year. Angie has 2 large dogs and a very precocious cat. She is very passionate about her work and is always on the search to improve her self, whether it is by improving her skills or increasing her knowledge. Angie�s goal is to provide you and your pets outstanding customer service combined with knowledge and compassion.
