 Dr. April Treat graduated with High Honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (Tufts, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine[clinical year]) May 2012. Prior to attending her undergraduate program she worked in veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Technician from 2001 to 2008. She is currently seeing dog, cat, and small pocket pets.  She is actively enhancing her knowledge with many exotics as well.  She takes pride in promoting good health and care to pets, ensuring each pet has a longer life with their pet family.

Dr. Treat welcomed her first child in 2014, so family is a huge focus as well as spending time with her Island Coconut retriever Shiraz, labrador retriever Stitch, and her one-eyed cat Gracie.  She, when not with animals and her family enjoys spending time with her friends, hiking, photography, and swimming.

If it is after hours and you have a serious emergency please take your pet directly to VCA CAVES located off of Ft. Eddy Road in Concord, 227-1199.
