  • Client Service Manager

    Jessica Carrier

    Jessica VCA Riverside's Customer Service Supervisor has been with us for over 10 years helping to improve each pet and pet parent's experience and bond at our hospital.  She started at VCA Riverside as a receptionist in 2003 and has taken her skills acquired and going above and beyond for every client has made her an invaluable asset at our hospital. 

    She has lived in Boscawen, New Hampshire for 23 years and now resides in Andover.  Her favorite pet was Cooper, her yellow labrador retriever who passed away in 2007 but now currently has a pet turtle named Yurtle.  She enjoys shopping, working, cooking, kayaking and riding motorcycles when the weather is great.  Jess aspires to take all her working knowledge and gain a degree in verterinary technology and become a Certified Veterinary Technician to help better enhance her professional future for hopefully a life long career at VCA Riverside.

    Anne Armstrong

    Anne joined the VCA Riverside team in December 2011 and works as both a client service representative as well as a trained veterinary technician. Anne joined our team with over 13 years of veterinary experience under her belt.   Anne has a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology. She shares her home with 2 Australian Cattle Dogs as well as some domestic chickens! Her favorite part about working for VCA is getting to know her patients and clients.
    When not with her patients, Anne enjoys hiking, reading, visiting roadside attractions, raising chickens, and gardening. Anne is excited to expand her experience and knowledge with exotic pets at VCA Riverside.

    Katie Hoffman

    Katie has been part of the VCA Riverside team since 2012 and works in both kennel and as a Client Service Representative. She has an Associate’s degree as a Medical Assistant, a phlebotomy license, as well as credits towards her Bacherlor’s degree! Katie has been in the client service industry for over 14 years and, when asked what she likes most about VCA Riverside, she said “The people (employees and clients) and being around animals as well as all of the Hands On Learning that the job provides!”
    Katie has one dog named “Roxy” and two cats named “Sugar” and “Spice”. Outside of work, Katie likes spending time with family and friends, any type of sport/athletic activity, cooking, hanging out with her dog “Roxy”.
    Katie’s dream would be to win the powerball one day and she hopes to continue with the learning process in all aspects of the hospital at VCA Riverside!

    Martha "Marti" Plant

    Marti joined VCA Riverside in Spring 2014 as a Client Service Representative. She hails from Queens, NY and shares her home with a cat named “MJ” and a Green -Cheeked Conure named “Jackie”.
    Outside of work, she enjoys reading, movies, music, and motorcycling with her “other half”.
    We are thrilled to have Marti on the VCA Riverside team! She brings over 13 years of Client Service experience to Riverside and always has a smile on her face!

    Justine Reed

    Justine joined our team in 2013 and works both as a Client Service Representative as well as a Kennel Assistant. Justine has a degree from NHTI and Becker College and would like to eventually obtain her Certification as a Veterinary Technician.
    Justine loves working with animals, but also really loves working with “such an amazing, compassionate, group of people”. 
    Justine is a true “Cat-A-Holic” and happily shares her home with three tabbies:  “George”, “Pemi”, and “Izzy”! Outside of work she enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, or spending time with her fiancé Jordan.

    Ashley Spooner

    Ashley began her career at VCA Riverside in 2013 as a Client Service Representative. Clients love her outgoing nature and her compassionate attitude! Ashley is “mom” to an Australian shepherd named “CoCo” and two domestic medium haired kitties named Rambo and Roland.


    Ashley is currently working towards her bachelor’s in Wildlife Management at Oregon State University (online). Ashley who was recently married loves hiking, backpacking, and travel with her husband! Although her longterm goal is to become a Wildlife Biologist, VCA Riverside is thrilled to have Ashley as part of our client service team!

If it is after hours and you have a serious emergency please take your pet directly to Concord Area Veterinary Emergeny Services located off of Ft. Eddy Road in Concord, 227-1199. http://www.capareaves.org
