VCA Riverside Veterinary Hospital

VCA Riverside Veterinary Hospital does not want you to worry about your pet while you are away. We provide a safe and secure environment for your pet with plenty of play time.

Our dog kennels come in a variety of sizes to comfortably accommodate your dog. Our cat kennels are in our "cats only" section of the hospital. Riverside provides each pet with a blanket or bed to help them feel at home. We feed a prescription diet that is easy on the digestive system, but feel free to bring your own food. Your pets comfort and a stress-free stay is our main goal!

The cats are played with several times daily and are allowed to roam around or relax in an enclosed room for exercise or mischief! We also integrate our boarding dogs with our Doggy Daycare Program so your dog, if requested, can socialize with other dogs of the same size, temperament and activity level. Our facility provides several large and grassy fenced-in yards as well as individual outdoor kennels. Depending on the weather or activity level of your dog, most dogs play outside all day! But dont worry! If the weather is inclement, we have a large indoor room especially for your dog. You may also request grooming, bathing or medical exams while your pet is being boarded.

Your pets health should be your last concern while on vacation. Because Riverside is a veterinary hospital first, we are capable of responding quickly to your pet if the need should arise. Our experienced staff can also safely and reliably administer any medication that is needed. Our doctors are on-call for any after-hour concerns as well.

* Frequently Asked Questions
Please Note: In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all animals within our facility, our hospital policy requires that all dogs must be current on their rabies, distemper, parvo and kennel cough vaccinations. They must also have had a negative fecal within the last three months, be on regular heartworm prevention and flea control and have had a negative heartworm test within the last year. In order to be able to play and socialize with other dogs, any dog over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered. (Grooming patients do not need the fecal test.)

Cats must be current on their rabies and distemper. They must also be free from fleas.
