Technician SupervisorKate B
Kate was born in Anchorage, Alaska, but moved to Washington in 1991. Being raised around wild animals and owning a cat of her own, she was drawn into the veterinary field by her love of animals and desire to help them. Kate joined the Redmond team in May 2008, and has been happily working as a Veterinary Assistant since then. She graduated from University of Washington with a BA in Biology, and will be sitting the exams for Veterinary Technician License early 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gaming, and exploring the outdoors by biking, hiking, and geocaching. Along with her kitty Neo, she lives with her fiancée in Redmond and hopes to enjoy many more years helping animals to live the best possible lives they can.
