    Veterinary Tech School: Pima Medical Institute

    Vanessa was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska and grew up with a great appreciation for our natural world, including all the animals that live there! She received her B.S. in Large Animal Science in 2002, and worked primarily in the equine industry for 10 years. In 2012 she became a licensed veterinary technician and joined the team at VCA Redmond Animal Hospital that spring. She lives with her husband in Duvall and has a horse, two cats, and a dog.

    Rachel E

    Rachel has always had an attraction to working with animals. She obtained her education from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle and became licensed as a Veterinary Technician in 2010. She resides in Redmond with her husband, Aysar, and their 3 cats Seph, Mira, and Leo.

    Louise M
    Veterinary Tech School: Suny Canton, NY

    Louise moved to Washington State in 1983 after graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at SUNY Canton in upstate New York and doing a summer externship at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

    Louise has worked for over 25 years in mixed & small animal practice at sister hospital, VCA Snohomish Animal Hospital. She decided to expand her skills and experience by providing relief work at sister VCA hospitals, West Seattle, SnoWood, Redmond and Alpine. Louise accepted a permanent transfer to VCA Redmond Animal Hospital in July 2010 to be a part of this excellent team.

    Louise lives in Lake Stevens with her 2 cats, PJ and Grampa. She enjoys volunteering as a board member on the Advisory Committee for the Sno-Isle Tech vocational training program, walking and hiking on local trails, music, reading and traveling.

    Jessica A

    Jessica has had a passion for working with animals her whole life. She became a team member at VCA Redmond in 2011. She received her education from Pima Medical Institute in Seattle and is  working on getting licensed. Jessica lives  with her husband and  three dogs: Ginky, a Chihuahua; Forrest, yellow lab; and Buddy, a black lab.

    School: Washington State University

    Katie has lived in the Redmond area most of her life and is a recent graduate of Washington State University. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and hopes to continue her education working at VCA Redmond Animal Hospital. Outside of her love for animals, Katie enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through CrossFit and going on hikes with her dog, Jade.
