VCA Redmond Animal Hospital

Melissa Moskowitz, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Colorado State University

Dr. Melissa Moskowitz was born and raised in a small town in rural Connecticut. After taking animal science classes through the agricultural program at her high school, Melissa decided to pursue her interest in veterinary medicine. She completed her B.S. degree in animal science at the University of Connecticut in 2005. After spending a year in Massachusetts working at an animal shelter, Melissa traveled to Colorado for veterinary school. In May 2010, she received her D.V.M. degree from Colorado State University. She stayed in Colorado an additional year to complete a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver. Now, Melissa is excited to be joining the team at VCA Redmond Animal Hospital.

Professionally, Melissa has broad interests in internal medicine, dentistry and preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys being active outdoors, including running, biking and hiking, and is looking forward to seeing all that the pacific northwest has to offer. She also enjoys watching movies, reading and spending time with her Labrador retriever mix, Max.
